  1. Ms, Swanek,
Here are a couple of the monologues i like, will you tell me the one you think will be best!

    Freaky Friday:
Tess (as her daughter Anna): Mr. Bates, may I please speak with you? By what stretch of the imagination . . . I mean, like, how could I, like, get an “F”? I mean, what mistakes did I make? That was a college-level analysis. In a matter of fact I most certainly am qualified of making that point. "As in Hamlet, ‘what’s done is done’"? That’s "Macbeth," you know-nothing twit. Bates. Elton Bates. Griffith High School. Well, you asked me, I mean, my mom to the prom, but she turned you down. And now you’re taking it out on her daughter, aren’t you? Aren’t you?! Oh come on, it was high school dance. I mean, you’ve got to let go and move on, man. And if you don’t, I’m ! sure the school board would love to hear about your pathetic vendetta against an innocent student. Oh, and by the way Elton, she had a boyfriend, and you were weird.

101 Dalmations (I think this one might be a little to short):
Cruella De Vil: You beasts! But I'm not beaten yet. You've won the battle, but I'm about to win the wardrobe. My spotty puppy coat is in plain sight and leaving tracks. In a moment I'll have what I came for, while all of you will end up as sausage meat, alone on some sad, plastic plate. Dead and medium red. No friends, no family, no pulse. Just slapped between two buns, smothered in onions, with fries on the side. Cruella De Vil has the last laugh!

Peter Pan:(srry about the caps locks thats how i found this one)
hook: HOW STILL THE NIGHT IS. NOTHING SOUNDS ALIVE. NOW IS THE HOUR WHEN CHILDREN IN THEIR HOMES ARE A-BED; THEIR LIPS BRIGHT-BROWNED WITH THE GOODNIGHT CHOCOLATE, AND THEIR TONGUES DROWSILY SEARCHING FOR BELATED CRUMBS HOUSED INSECURELY ON THEIR SHINING CHEEKS. COMPARE WITH THEM THE CAPTIVE CHILDREN ON THIS BOAT. SPLIT ME INFINITIVES, BUT ‘TIS ME HOUR OF TRIUMPH! PETER KILLED AT LAST AND ALL THE BOYS ABOUT TO WALK THE PLANK. AT LAST, I’VE REACHED ME PEAK! ALL MORTALS ENVY ME.....NO LITTLE CHILDREN LOVE ME. I’M TOLD THEY PLAY AT PETER PAN, AND THAT THE STRONGEST ALWAYS CHOOSES TO BE PETER. THEY FORCE THE BABY TO BE HOOK. THE BABY! THAT’S WHERE THE CANKER GNAWS!

  7. Hey Ms.Swanek, hope you had a great weekend, since you won't be here tomorrow i was just wondering for my comic, i was planning on having it be 3 slides, but i can try to make it four if i am supposed to have that many. You said that people who are looking at it have to be able to infer what the person is feeling or thinking, so do i put a question on the side or no? Thanks
